The Weseta manufactory was founded in 1864, during the heyday of the textile industry in the canton of Glarus. For more than 160 years, we have remained uncompromisingly true to our roots thanks to innovation, cosmopolitanism and an unconditional commitment to quality. To this day, the name Weseta stands for first-class terry products from the only terry weaving mill in Switzerland.
We weave the terry toweling for our towels and bathrobes in the Swiss canton of Glarus. In this process, we use medium- and long-staple cotton from sustainable cultivation and work exclusively with partner companies who enjoy our fullest confidence. In this way, we ensure short transport routes, fair working conditions and consistent world-class quality. With our long history and our knowledge from the past, we help to protect the environment and preserve our planet for the future and for generations to come.
