Woven for your enjoyment—at Switzerland’s only terry weaving mill
The Weseta weaving mill was established 160 years ago in 1864, at the height of the textile industry in Glarus canton. And during these 160 years, we have maintained an unwavering loyalty to our roots owing to our innovation, cosmopolitanism, and unconditional commitment to quality. To this day, the Weseta brand represents first-class terry products from the only terry weaving mill in Switzerland.
We weave the terry toweling for our towels and bathrobes in the Swiss canton of Glarus. In this process, we use medium- and long-staple cotton from sustainable cultivation and work exclusively with partner companies who enjoy our fullest confidence. In this way, we ensure short transport routes, fair working conditions and consistent world-class quality. With our long history and our knowledge from the past, we are helping to protect the environment and preserve our planet for the future and for generations to come.
This awareness of the challenges of our time, together with the passion and care with which we manufacture our terry products, can be felt with every touch. Tangibly soft. Tangibly authentic. Tangibly sustainable. Tangibly exceptional. Tangibly Weseta. For 160 years.
